Nive des Aldudes
A headwater river with crystal clear waters. Ideal for Tenkara, it offers varied courses between deep pools and oxygenated rapids. The trout here are wild and combative.
Grande Nive
A wider river allowing ample casts. Perfect for traditional fly fishing. Beautiful specimens of brown trout can be found in the deep pools.
Nive de Béhérobie
A wild tributary with crystal clear waters. A technical course where each spot requires approach and discretion. A river for lovers of fishing close to nature.
Rio Irati - Hemingway
The mythical river where Ernest Hemingway used to fish for trout. An exceptional course in Spanish Navarre, accessible only in May and June. An unforgettable experience.
The Hemingway Experience
The Rio Irati in Navarre is much more than a river: it's a place steeped in history. Ernest Hemingway, the famous American writer and fishing enthusiast, regularly stayed there in the 1920s.
This exceptional experience is only offered in May and June, when conditions are optimal. The 8 to 9 hour day allows you to explore preserved courses, off the beaten track.

Fishing Seasons
Each period of the season offers different conditions and experiences:
- March-April: Season opening, cool waters, active fish. Ideal for nymphs.
- May-June: Mayfly hatches, exceptional dry fly fishing. Rio Irati period.
- July-August: Morning and evening fishing. Seeking cool waters at altitude.
- September: End of season, fish in great shape before autumn.
